Traveling with pets

by Amy Swartz

I work with a lot of people who have pets that don’t enjoy traveling.  Here are my recommendations for them:

Many people get Happy for airline travel.  Calm also works well.  Use it twice daily for two weeks before going on the trip so the body is less stressed.  On the day of travel, use it often.  Spray it on their body and massage.  Also spray in their face and of course put it in their food and water.  Spray the carrier and bedding as well.

If they get car sick, use Tummy.  Use for two weeks straight so the body has time to adjust.  Then use it 1 hour before riding in the car.  Spray on their body, face and put in food and water.   If your pet is anxious also use Happy or Calm as mentioned above.

Happy was originally made to help stressed cats feel better while Calm was made to relax  puppies.  There is a lot of overlap in the formulas. Either one will help your pet travel more comfortably.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.  Good health to your whole family,
